Unicode was created in the 1980s as an effort to unify character codes across different systems. The small text you see here is made entirely from real Unicode characters, not images or actual fonts.

2. Small Caps

Small caps have been used in print for centuries to create aesthetic distinction and format acronyms without shouting. This generator uses Unicode small cap characters that look like miniature uppercase letters. Most letters are fully supported, though some like Q, X, and S use similar-looking substitutes.

3. Superscript

Superscript characters originated for mathematical notation and phonetics. They sit above the normal text baseline. Most lowercase letters are available, but q is missing — the generator uses ᵠ as a close substitute. Numbers 0-9 are fully supported.

4. Subscript

Subscript characters sit below the baseline and are commonly used in chemical formulas like H₂O. Unfortunately, Unicode does not include a complete subscript alphabet — many letters are missing. The generator uses available subscript letters and keeps unsupported characters as-is. For best results, avoid B, C, D, F, G, Q, W, and Z in pure subscript output.

5. Use on WhatsApp and X (Twitter)

Small text is great for making WhatsApp status updates, group chat messages, and X (Twitter) posts stand out. Type your message, pick a style, copy it, and paste directly. 7. Reddit Markdown Tips

On Reddit, you can create superscript using Markdown syntax. For a single word: normal^(superscript) renders as normal^(superscript). For multiple words, wrap them in parentheses: 1000 = 10^(3). Note that nested superscript is not supported in the new Reddit design.
